How a rights holder reports suspected unauthorised use of its work on a service that runs on Xtream UI Pro, and what the publisher of the software can and cannot do.
Who runs the service you saw
Xtream UI Pro is software that operators install on their own servers. The publisher does not host, stream or have access to the content of any installation, and does not know which operators run the software. A complaint about content has to reach the operator of that service, whose address usually appears in its player application, its website or its payment receipt.
Reporting to the publisher
If you believe the software itself, this website or a service the publisher operates (the demo installation, the download site, the support site) infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright complaint".
What to include
Identify the work, the URL or the service where you saw it, the date and time, your name and the rights holder you represent, a way to reach you, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised. Where the law of your country prescribes a form of notice, use it.
What happens next
The publisher acknowledges a complete notice, removes or disables material on services it operates when the notice is well-founded, and, where a notice concerns an operator's installation and the law requires or allows it, passes the notice to the operator or to the authorities. The publisher cannot remove content from an installation it does not run.
Misuse of this process
A notice that knowingly misrepresents a work or its ownership may expose the sender to liability under the law that applies. Operators who receive a notice through the publisher keep their own obligations towards the rights holder.
